CRP provides dinner on Thursday and lunches on Friday/Saturday for staff and volunteers. You will receive a per diem check by mail to help cover the expense of other meals while you’re at the convention. Please provide your home address below. We need this information for per diem reporting purposes. THIS IS WHERE YOUR PER DIEM CHECK WILL BE MAILED, so please make sure it is correct.



To ensure a smooth convention, CRP convention staff is requesting that staff and volunteers arrive by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16th, to help with pre-convention set-up, and leave after the convention ends late afternoon, Sunday, May 19th. If flying, we will book your flight to arrive/depart at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). There is a free shuttle from SFO to the hotel. Please use the shuttle. (more info will be sent in your confirmation email.) Paid rides, such as taxis and Ubers, to and from SFO will not be reimbursed. Return flights on May 19th depart in the late afternoon/early evening, so please keep this in mind when making your plans.

The California Republican Party covers hotel room, tax, and self-parking charges for our volunteers. We have a limited number of rooms at the convention hotel for staff and convention attendees. If you are willing to volunteer to share a room at the hotel with another member of the convention volunteer team, please select the option below and provide the name of your requested roommate, if you have a specific person you would like to request. If you are open to sharing a room with anyone on the team of the same gender, please leave the name section blank. Anyone that volunteers to share a room will receive a $25 Starbucks gift card as a token of our appreciation.


If you select the hotel option, we will make hotel reservations for all convention staff. If you live in the Burlingame area, you have the option to not stay at the convention hotel, but it will be your responsibility to make sure you are on-site for all of your shift times and as needed for your Team Lead. If you stay at home, you can be reimbursed for Uber/Lyft/Rideshare/JumpBike trips to and from the convention.

The CAGOP expects all event participants - attendees, staff, exhibitors, speakers, and others associated with the CAGOP, to act respectfully and professionally, creating a productive and enjoyable event experience.

The CAGOP does not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Should any event participant experience or witness any form of harassment, the incident should be reported to the CAGOP Convention Director and Executive Director as soon as possible. Retaliation associated with reporting such incidents is prohibited. Violation of our policy will be taken seriously, and the CAGOP will respond appropriately, including expulsion from the convention. Registration fees are non-refundable.
