Senator Roger Niello was born in Sacramento County and has lived there most his life. He attended the University of California, Berkeley and earned a graduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant and then went on to help manage and grow his family’s small business, the Niello Company Group of Auto Dealerships.

Senator Niello previously served six years in the California State Assembly and five years on the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. He has been involved in numerous charitable, civic, and business organizations throughout his career, including serving as President and CEO of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce. Senator Roger Niello resides in Fair Oaks with his wife, Mary. Together, they have five adult children and six grandchildren.
