Assembly GOP Leader James Gallagher has represented Assembly District 3 since 2014. Before joining the Assembly, he served on the Sutter County Board of Supervisors for six years. 

Leader Gallagher’s work is preserving the unique family values of the North State that make it the special place it is to live, work and raise a family. Using his background as an accomplished attorney and law school graduate from the University of California, Davis, Leader Gallagher has been holding politicians accountable. He has also been a strong advocate for reducing burdensome tax regulation on families and small businesses, reducing wildfire risk, supporting law enforcement, and protecting Proposition 13.

 Leader James Gallagher is married to his high school sweetheart, Janna, and they have five children.
