“There has been no greater champion for the conservative movement than my friend and Bakersfield’s very own, Speaker Emeritus, Kevin McCarthy. He worked relentlessly to get Republicans elected not only in California, but across our nation. It was because of that hard work that we as a Party regained the House majority. 

During his Speakership, the House majority passed:

• Parent’s Bill of Rights
• The largest spending cut in history
• The strongest border security bill ever
• Permitting reform to build in America again
• Repealed funding for 87K IRS Agents
• Launched the Select Committee to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable
• Passed Lower Energy Costs Act
