CAGOP Flips Voter Reg Advantages in Target Districts!

Republicans did it again! For the third voter registration report in a row, California Republicans made massive gains while Democrats continue to lose voters. A Friday news dump from Secretary of State Weber shows Republicans, once again, gained new voters in every single congressional, senate and assembly district and across all 58 counties.

On top of this, Republicans have flipped the voter registration advantage to red in two of our top targets this November: Congressional District 41 with Republican Congressman Ken Calvert (February: D+.03; July: R+.63%) and Assembly District 74 with Republican Assemblywoman Laurie Davies (February: D+.46%; July: R+.05%)!

In the most recent report, highlighting from February 20 to July 5, 2024:

Republicans gained 94,667 voters

Democrats lost 43,733 voters

From October 3, 2023, to July 5, 2024:

Republicans gained 196,877 voters

Democrats lost 112,057 voters

No Party Preference lost 64,477 voters

Since CAGOP Chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson was first elected in 2019, the party has added nearly 775,000 new Republicans to the voter rolls across California.

“Momentum continues to build for California Republicans as voters grow weary of California Democrats’ failures and look to the CAGOP and our candidates for commonsense solutions. Yesterday, we welcomed Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil joining our party, and today we celebrate the nearly 95,000 new Republicans who join her, as together we fight to make California the premiere state in which to live, work and raise a family. The radical, failed policies of Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom and their fellow California Democrats have driven our state to the top of all the wrong lists. The California Republican Party is a place where everyone who wants to fix our broken state is welcome.” – CAGOP Chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson
